An aircraft operating an IFR flight between Buenos Aires and Rosario Airport, Argentina, experienced a significant landing incident. The aircraft landed with the nose gear retracted, contacting the runway. The pilot?s actions ? landing with the nose gear retracted and not performing an emergency gear extension ? resulted in a slide of 700 meters before stopping. The primary cause was a hydraulic system failure leading to a gear position error, compounded by nighttime and instrument weather conditions and an out-of-service landing gear alarm. An aircraft operating an IFR flight between Buenos Aires and Rosario Airport, Argentina, experienced a significant landing incident.
