Description

R/205. The Sunderland ran aground after landing in the water off Kai Tak. Written off and used for spares. Photos appear online inferring damage was from a typhoon on 17 July 1946, 3 months after the crash. However, the photos are undated so possibly before the typhoon. The aircraft was to be a replacement for 209 Squadron.
