Description
The Y-5B utility aircraft could not gain altitude after takeoff and crashed onto sand dunes. The crew evacuated safely. The aircraft was incinerated by the post-crash fire. Probable cause: Overloading. Another factor was that the crew did not select the optimal flaps configuration.
