An aircraft experienced a catastrophic failure during a return from an aborted barrier mission, resulting in a series of fatal injuries. The aircraft collided with a seawall debris, causing a sheared-off main mount, subsequent cartwheeling, slide into a Crash Crew Truck, explosion, and subsequent burning. Description
While returning from aborted barrier mission, the aircraft hit seawall debris at end of the short runway. The main mount was sheared off and it cartwheeled, slid into a Crash Crew Truck, exploded and burned. All 3 inside the truck also suffered fatal injuries.
