A Learjet 23 prototype experienced an emergency landing in a wheatfield following a simulated left engine failure during takeoff. Spoilers inadvertently extended during takeoff resulted in the landing. Description

Learjet 23 prototype. Emergency belly landed in wheatfield when the Learjet did not climb after simulating a left engine failure on takeoff. Spoilers were inadvertently extended on takeoff.
