The flight, departing Tashkent Airport (TAS) at 23:25 Moscow time on May 10, was initially climbing to cruising altitude of 9000 meters before abruptly descending to 7800 meters around 01:22. The flight disappeared from radar approximately 01:37 Moscow time (04:37 local time), and subsequent investigation revealed the wreckage was found in the steppe approximately 3.5 km from the crash site.
