On November 14, 2000, a Romanian Air Force Il-14 aircraft crashed while approaching Moscow-Vnukovo Airport (VKO) due to heavy fog. Three crew members and a passenger, former Romanian Foreign Minister Gregore Preoteasa, were killed. Description
The Romanian Government Il-14 struck treetops in fog and crashed while approaching Moscow-Vnukovo Airport (VKO). Three crew members and a passenger, former Romanian Foreign Minister Gregore Preoteasa, were killed.
