A Ford aircraft, piloted by Juan Tilghman Gallo, was en route from Tuxpan to Pachuca. Due to bad weather and descending from 14,000 feet to 9,500 feet over high mountains, the right engine failed immediately, followed by the left engine. Gallo attempted to stretch the glide to Actopan airfield but crashed-landed, sliding along a ridge and ground looping. The aircraft was dismantled and used for spares due to a broken fuel line.A Ford aircraft, piloted by Juan Tilghman Gallo, was en route from Tuxpan to Pachuca.
