Description

The Douglas DC-3 named “Gripen” was shot down by a German Junkers Ju-88 Luftwaffe aircraft. The pilot tried to make a forced landing at sea, but the airplane struck cliffs of H†ll” Island and crashed. The mechanic and a passenger who were preparing a life raft in the rear part of the plane were thrown out and survived.
