A Boeing 737-800 aircraft experienced a loss of control during routine flight near Denver International Airport. The aircraft was flying at 65 knots, heading southwest, when it abruptly lost altitude and began a rapid descent. The pilot initiated a manual return-to-normal procedure, but the aircraft subsequently drifted off course and entered a significant, uncontrolled glide. The pilot reported a loss of control and a subsequent emergency landing at a nearby airfield.A Boeing 737-800 aircraft experienced a loss of control during routine flight near Denver International Airport.
