A medical evacuation aircraft was being transferred to a nearby aircraft when a second aircraft initiated taxi. Due to a power surge during taxi, the jet blast slammed the entrance door of the medevac aircraft, causing it to close. Description
While medical equipment was being transferred to the a/c, a second a/c, directly in front, started its engines. when power was applied to taxi, the jet blast blew the medevac a/c’s entrance door closed. An attendant standing behind the entrance was hit by the door and her hand was trapped, resulting in serious injury.
