Description
The Liberator Express collided in flight with USAAF Curtiss C-46 Commando 42-107328. All crews on both airplanes were apparently killed. The C-109’s captain was Hobart T. Walker. According to the published list, a total of 15 USAAF servicemen died in China on 1945-02-11; probably they were all the victims of the mid-air collision. The casualty distribution on each airplane was conjecture.
