Description
A 25-year old male passenger brandished a .38 caliber snub-nosed revolver five minutes after takeoff from Minneapolis. He held a stewardess at gun point and claimed to have dynamite. He demanded $ 300,000 in cash and parachutes upon arrival at Chicago. While officials delivered the cash and parachutes, the passengers and crew escaped. The hijacker then tried to shave his beard and tried to pose as a hostage passenger. When this effort failed, he surrendered.
