A HB-GJM aircraft experienced issues lowering the gear during approach to Saint Tropez-La Mle Airport, Switzerland, resulting in a diversion to Sion. The aircraft’s nose landing gear remained in mid-down position while the crew could lower the main gear. Description
HB-GJM had problems lowering the gear during the approach to Saint Tropez-La Mle Airport and diverted back to Sion, Switzerland. The crew could in the meantime lower the main gear, but the nose landing gear stayed in mid-down position. In Sion (LSGS) they performed a successful landing with the nosewheel partly extended.
