A small aircraft was hijacked approximately 30 minutes after takeoff from Leningrad. The hijacker deployed homemade explosives, resulting in a fire within the cabin. Description

The aircraft was hijacked some 30 minutes after take-off from Leningrad. The hijacker made use of home-made explosives, setting off a fire in the cabin. The crew managed to make an emergency landing at J?hvi, Estonia. All occupants except for the hijacker were able to get out before the fuselage burned out.
