Description
An unmarked C-47 was shot down by anti-aircraft weapons during a nighttime infiltration flight to pick up spies operating inside Chinese territory. The two crew members died in the crash. The two secret agents aboard survived and were captured by Chinese soldiers. They were imprisoned and eventually repatriated in 1971 and 1973, respectively.
