An Airbus A-319-114 aircraft experienced a left-overwing emergency slide deployment during en-route flight from Toronto-Pearson to San Francisco. The slide separated, causing vibrations and a brief period of light chop followed by vibration lasting approximately 10-15 minutes. The slide was retrieved from a tree near Lake Huron in Ontario, and the aircraft landed in San Francisco. The aircraft sustained damage to the wing to body fairing and to the trailing edge of the inboard flap.
