A flight landed short due to a low NDB approach to runway 16, resulting in damage to the aircraft’s undercarriage which caused it to collapse. The aircraft slid for approximately 700 meters before coming to rest on the right side of the runway. Description

Landed 36.5 m short following a low NDB approach to runway 16. The undercarriage struck the raised lip of the runway, causing it to collapse. After sliding for about 700 m before coming to rest on the right side of the runway. Anti-skid problems forced the crew to try to land as soon after the threshold as possible.
