Description
Douglas C-53 Skytrooper, USAAF s/n 42-6500 and named “Kunlun” by ROC Air Force, was destroyed when it came down in thunderstorm near Zhijiang, Huaihua, Hunan, China. The aircraft was on a flight to drop supplies to Chinese troops in Hengyang. The six crew members died in the accident.
